Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah-based hip hop group J-FAM released a 5 track album in April 2012 titled “Chapter 1”, which is a combination of bilingual Hip Hop and R&B tracks. “Chapter 1″ is he first of 6 planned chapters of the group’s long awaited official mixtape.  So, I took some time to listen to J-FAM‘s 5 track EP  and I was impressed with every track that passed by!

J-FAM‘s “Chapter 1” is evidence that Hip-Hop is taking new routes and progressing in the Mideast.

“Chapter 1” totals to some 15 minutes of mind blowing music. Every track is unique from the other; J-FAM has explored the different segments and combined them precisely. The Intro track is catchy and fun (Combination of Arabic vocals and Reggae Music) .  The remaining tracks take you on a journey of Arabic and English Rap and even an R&B tune in “Love from a Close Sight” (A must listen track).
