A track off the bawse’s mixtape Rich Forever“, MMG’s Rick Ross enlists Young Money’s Drake & Bad Boys’/Coke Boys’ French Montana on this track.

Following his double-seizure back in October, Ross still manages to put out music like it never happened.  Anyone who knows about seizures knows it’s nothing to simply brush off. Seems to have had an effect on the bawse though, with his lyrics stating

“Life’s too short”.

The bawse seems to be using this track as a lead up to his next album. Drake comes off as someone with bipolar issues, seriously;

“Its feelin’ like rap changed, there was a time it was rugged.”

Facepalm moment? Indeed. At least Ross & French lend credibility to the track. In case you didn’t know (sleeping under a rock?), this is the track where Drake took a swipe at Common & instigated the diss. Oh well, boys will be boys.

Frenchie schemes on the chorus with Ross, a mellow sound, influenced by Nas’Day Dreamin’“, which in turn, was inspired by Kurtis Blow‘sDay Dreaming“. If you’re not familiar with his lyrical style, I suggest you search for a breakdown of his verse. With smart references to a movie, moving kilos, getting shot, money, his incarcerated friends Max-B & Penthouse P, it’s a wonder he’s still up & coming!

Yea, this track is a little deeper than it seems. Well produced, another banger!
