Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Kamran Rashid Khan aka Lazarus is a Pakistani-American not only recognized for his rapping talent, but also for being a recent graduate from medical school.

Having sold close to 30,000 copies of his debut album, Chapter One: The Prince Who Would Be King”, and thousands of mixtapes before it, Lazarus has made himself an icon in the underground hip hop scene of today.   His presence continues to grow in the streets and throughout the internet. MTV VMA award nominee, Anthony Garth (director of The White Stripes, Eminem, Three Six Mafia, and Jim Jones), recently directed the video for Lazarus’s first album single Let The Game Know“.

The following, is the second official music video by Lazarus called, “Drug of Choice“, which features a chorus sampled from the voice of the late legendary Pakistani singer, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.  The song is produced by DJ Mast.  ”Drug of Choice” was filmed in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and  shot by Junaid Malik.  The video was edited and directed by Lazarus.
